Last year, three Christians were arrested because of their faith. Here, they recount their experiences – and how they knew God was with them. As one of them told an Open Doors partner, “Even when I was in prison, I felt I was not alone. I felt your prayers.”
Saengchan says that when he was in prison he was asked over and over again to deny his faith in Jesus, but he refused. He lost his freedom to stay in a relationship with Jesus. That’s amazing enough, but thanks to support from local Open Doors partners, they were freed and the case against them was dropped… Now, relations between the small church and the rest of the community seem to have improved!
Pray for these believers in Laos today using the prayer points at the end of the video. Thank God that no only that they stood strong and were freed, but that the community is changing its attitude towards them.
