Jesus taught us a prayer – the Lord’s prayer. The first five points of the Lord’s prayer aren’t about us, but about God. Our prayers aren’t about us, but about connecting with God – aligning ourselves to him. Prayer gives us a connection with God and that’s the one thing no-one can ever take from us.
