Write to: Aisha

Aisha is a 28 year old mother of three from Nigeria. Two years ago her community was attacked by Fulani militants, who took her husband away, beat her up and abused her.

Fortunately, the attackers did not kill her husband and he returned home. When Aisha’s husband heard about what happened to her, he promised to stand by her. Since the attack, Aisha has understandable suffered many emotional problems.

But in September this year, Aisha was invited to participate in trauma counselling run by Open Doors local church partners. She says, “After that seminar I began to feel peace of mind… Honestly, I am so happy, and even in the next years to come, I will never forget this programme. I saw the hand of God in your visit. I really thank God because I have really seen the love of God. Your coming has shown me the love of Christ… And I have learned that even when I go back home I want to show this love to the people around us.

“We came here with heavy hearts, but we leave with joy and we ask God to bless you richly.”

Will you write to Aisha to encourage her in her walk with God through this healing process?

Please note that this campaign ends on the 29 June 2019.
