Chibok girl tells her story…

April 20, 2015

It’s been over a year since  the Chibok girls were taken from their school compound in Northern Nigeria. Saa was one of the girls who escaped the militant group Boko Haram by jumping from the truck they were using to transport the girls. She was interviewed in February at the Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy, and tells the story of that fateful night on 14 April 2014.

She also describes one incident where the militants questioned three of the girls about whether they were Muslims. One girl said she was a Christian. “One of them [a Boko Haram member] said, since she was a Christian, he was going to kill her.”

We support people who are beaten, tortured,
imprisoned, falsely accused, and hated simply for following Jesus.
