Prayer needed for pastor

Please pray for Babur* and his family.

Babur is a pastor of the underground church in a Central Asian country. The activities of his church have repeatedly drawn the attention of the secret police.

“He was warned that if he did not stop the activity of the Church, then he and his family would face the consequences,” said an Open Doors source. “Now the police have moved from words to actions.”

Last week, the secret police ordered Babur to leave the city where he was working. He was given just a few hours notice. According to the Open Doors source the security agents told him that they would throw him into jail and that that he would never see his child again.

Open Doors is in contact with Pastor Babur. He and his family have been taken to a safe house in the country.

Please pray for God’s protection for the family of Pastor Babur.
