We’re 60 this year! Hooray for us. We know, we don’t look it, but it’s true! Now, you might not know, but back in 1955 when Open Doors began, it was because of just one guy – a young dutch chap called Andrew. And Andrew’s story is pretty amazing.
Andrew had become a Christian and decided to give everything to Jesus. He put himself out there and risked it all responding to God’s call to serve the persecuted church. He started taking Bible’s to churches based in countries that were politically opposed to Christianity. Back then, that included quite a few nations in Eastern Europe. And that is how Open Doors began.
The story of his early years is a pretty incredible, inspiring journey and we’d love you to find out about it. Just fill out the form over there and we’ll send you a free copy of a comic version of his best selling book ‘God’s Smuggler’. We promise you’ll love his passion and be challenged by his commitment to Jesus!
If you’re a youth leader you can order up to 10 copies for you group – get in touch if you’d like us to send you more (firstname.lastname@example.org).
